We have the tech (to make the machines) to make renewable energy cheap…
Just not the will to unite to better our economy and our environment.
Please join forces to promote machine made RE parts, anti price gouging on such parts, to block enviro and lobbying laws against large scale RE installation (jobs!), and to put tariffs on China so that our government can better support this most urgent of transitions (among other things).

If you do not believe that XSCO2 is, indeed a truth to be concerned about (and as is documented), then how about this… Eventually, we will deplete our fossil fuel reserves and thus our children won’t be able to afford to drive (unless they are financially very well to do). This would subsequently cause inflation in two ways: High energy costs are passed on to all other aspects of society, and thus more money would have to be printed for subsidization due to more people not being able to afford life’s necessities. Hyperinflation and complete societal breakdown could be the result.

And if you do not believe that oil will deplete past the average person’s ability to pay and do not believe in the dangers of XSCO2, there is still the very real economic disaster awaiting an America that refuses to build up its industrial prowess. This is why we MUST cry foul against all those politicians which allow American companies to hire “slave labor” overseas. They and their products must be taxed to the max and tariffed to at least some degree. Anything produced overseas usually does not create additional installation jobs. A few that do, however, are fence posts and solar panels. Perhaps, the tariffs should be reduced for such jobs creating items!

If YOU are too busy to speak up, then America and other free nations will lose independence, the oceans really will absorb XSCO2, become acidic, then anoxic (and we won’t have the financial capability to do anything about it), then the air will begin to reek of hydrogen sulfide, just as in the dieoffs, geologic eons ago, that converted XSCO2 into our present store of fossil fuels…

These are the most urgent matters, even more than party sided issues (and beer!).

Our country has been torn apart by business interests that seek to conglomerate their trade routes by psychological divide and conquer tactics.

So has our future, the grand vision of unlimited clean energy, of clean battery electric transportation within multilevel 3-d cities made out of carbon graphine, of space exploration, its resource exploitation and finally, colonization…

Our current global political system has robbed us of of the hope to prosper indefinitely .

I believe the solution is to reduce spending money on the items the big corporations make in exchange for products made within borders, to block any laws that create more “big brother” (other than for children’s safety) and to just speak out about these issues (and above solutions) all the time.

Thanks for considering.

Comments on: "O.I.L. and so much less…" (1)

  1. It’s been just over a year since I posted that… Following is pasted from a post to “singularity hub” on about 4-17-13…
    Concerning the environment:
One may be compelled to fine the industry that created too much pollution. Then said industry would rather do the right thing and upgrade quality control concerning the environment (imagine no worker safeguards in toxic conditions). Yet, does the omni-potent globalization “equality” we seek put this on a level playing field? Will it when prices level out? Probably not, because the US is stuck with the EPA and China will never allow itself to be mired.

However, this (argument I just posed) probably will become as outdated as the belief that rare earths are only in China! I am trying to grasp what it will really be like when machines (are allowed to) create an over abundance of “everything”. Machines will be subject to the harsh conditions thus forcing the EPA to regulate solar panels and excess CO2. At this point, America must abolish the EPA! Machines will best deal with those real problems too.

Excess co2 is real, but is being used as a tactic to push carbon taxes, therefore the expected rise of the Anthropological Global Warming deniers (in this sense, I don’t blame them).
The real solution is to invent the machines that do mineral sequestration (but wait, we may not have to force this “better solution” upon the oil companies either!) The solution must also be to make clean energy cheap enough to compete, either by LFTR type nuclear or by use of the exponential growth of solar (or my favorite, both). As long as being green equates to being malthusian, none of the REAL enviro objectives will ever get solved because people (as per their happiness index) will want to refuse! This in turn causes the downward spiraling self fulfilling doomsday prophecies that both right and left fear. Why? Because the proven (yes, proven) exponential growth of solar, in order to continue, MUST be built by the advanced machine automation so capable of “taking away the rest of the jobs” (or at least by super advanced 3D printer). But, in the view that solar is in the same camp as “those greenies that want us all to decay” or “those commie pinko’s”, people tend to adhere to a more old fashioned approach… stick with what works (and forget about how hundreds of CUBIC miles of extracted fossil fuels will cause ever increasing levels of excess co2, and that, in this situation, the laws of physics do NOT have to have a happy index and care about us).
Now, I agree that “most” enviro’s are not doing as they should (they actually prohibit large solar and wind projects, for example!). Instead, they simply want to force a Malthusian reality so that there will be LESS abundance, MORE scarcity (and therefore more money in their short term, piggy heads).
This is why I clearly state that we should not allow the truth of excess co2 to be used as an excuse for political intervention past mere research, but that it, that is global warming, is just as much of a threat as any other misguided political or social structure because it is in fact a result of such.

Continuing with exponential solar, I believe that it IS solar that will both initiate the rapid surge in machine abundance AND a laborer’s delight… hundreds of thousands of square miles of such install jobs. It is also, exactly this, that will cause those other machines, you know, the ones that must convert that excess co2 into something which is chemically stable, to become reality. What now is economically prohibitive shall, in just a few years, become as commonplace as the supercomputers we now use to debate such topics.
Fines and subsidy are used to shift power from one industry to another, however (even though useful for certain tech development in the past) this exponential machine thing should bolster all the industries FAR past any fines and subsidy. The understanding of physics, science, IS (and should thus be considered as) the fundamental prerequisite, the very foundation to any social structure which therefore allows the basis for survival PAST mere needs and the tradegy of the commons.

We came from the oil that MUST build the unlimited clean energy economy of tomorrow.
